My 5 favorite jewellery tips
As a jewellery designer I love to experiment with different kind of styles and jewelry combinations. The more your jewelry collection grows, the more complicated it can get to style your pieces in the right way. These are my 5 styling tips and tricks that always works:
- Chose necklaces that match your neckline.
It’s all about balance when you wear necklaces. A turtleneck will look great with a longer chain and pendant but for a V-neck, consider a shorter pendant necklace that fits right in the V shaped neckline.
- Layer it up!
I love layering necklaces, rings and bracelets as this gives such a personal touch to your look. There are no rules, just try on different combinations and see what works for you.
- Put some extra thought on the earrings.
For me, earrings are super important. Earrings are always in the field of vision for anyone talking to you so pick out a pair that compliments your hair, skin colour and face shape. Keep it simple with a statement earring or add multiple earrings if you have more piercings.
- Find your perfect fit.
A bracelet needs to fit your wrists perfectly. If it’s too tight, your wrist will look bigger than it is and vice versa. Pick out bracelets in different widths and textures so you can take your arm party to the next level.
- Mix colors!
White, yellow or rose gold… I think mixing colors gives such an interesting vibe to your look. It was considered a sin to mix colors in the past, but times has definitely changed. I love to mix dual tones such as pink gold and white gold as it will add an interesting pop to any outfit.
With love, Sofie

Morgane’s Valentine’s Day menu
Meet Morgane, a young food, fashion and health enthusiast based in Antwerp. She discovered a love for cooking when transitioning to plant-based eating and has made it her goal to inspire more of us to introduce this way of eating into our homes through her e-book Humbly by Morgane . Today on her Valentine’s menu? A spicy pasta Aglio Olio e Peperoncino (served with a glass of red wine and some serious bling of course!) and a romantic vegan tiramisu. Njam!
Recipes:
- Pasta Aglio Olio e Peperoncino
Ingredients for 2 people:
- 250 grams of spaghetti
- 6 tbsp of olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves (sliced thinly)
- 1 tbsp of dried red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
- Optional: juice of ½ lemon and 1 tsp of lemon zest to garnish
- Optional: grated vegan parmesan cheese
Step 1: Start by cooking your pasta until al dente and reserve 1 cup of the cooking water.
Step 2: Place the olive oil and garlic in a pan and start sautéing the garlic over low heat. Makes sure to stir often and keep the heat low so the garlic will not burn.
Step 3: add in the dried red pepper flakes and let the olive oil absorb the flavour over low heat.
Step 4: Once the garlic is lightly browned and the olive oil is fragrant add the pasta to the pan, together with its cooking water. Cover the pasta in the olive oil sauce.
Step 5: Add a squize of lemon juice and some lemon zest if desired.
Step 6: serve with some vegan grated parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
- Vegan Tiramisu
Ingredients for 2 people:
- 250 grams of silken tofu
- 200 ml of canned coconut milk (the hard part on the top of the can after cooling)
- 4 tbsp of maple syrup
- 1 tsp of vanilla essence
- 100 grams of lotus Speculoos cookies
- 1 cup of strong coffee
Step 1: add the silken tofu, coconut cream, vanilla and maple syrup to a blender and pulse until smooth to make the cream.
Step 2: soak the Speculoos cookies in the coffee and add a bottom layer in your serving bowls. Add a layer of the cream and repeat with a layer of soaked cookies until your bowls are full.
Step 3: add a layer of cacao powder on top.
Step 4: let it sit in fridge for 3 hours to firm up.
Happy Valentine's day! X Morgane
